The Jamworks app is a form of assistive technology available to both students and professionals which can be used during meetings and lectures for automatic note taking through the power of AI. 

I joined Jamworks in January 2022 as a Student Brand Ambassador, promoting the app both on campus and online to fellow students. As I became more involved in the start-up, the team recognised my creative strengths and invited me to contribute further as a Copywriter and Content Creator across their blog and social media channels.

In this expanded role, I wrote weekly blog posts and produced engaging content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, including Stories and short-form videos tailored to student audiences. Collaborating with the Jamworks Digital Marketing team gave me hands-on experience in SEO, keyword strategy, and performance analytics, deepening my understanding of digital marketing and content optimisation.

This experience not only strengthened my creative confidence but also allowed me to write about a product that genuinely supported my own studies. Crafting content that felt authentic and helpful was key to building trust with our audience, and it reinforced my belief that great copywriting starts with empathy, clarity and a genuine passion for the message.

DSA Advice is a TikTok page run by Jamworks with the aim of raising awareness and providing support to students eligible to apply for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).

As the main creator for this account, I posted three weekly videos in a variety of forms (informative, comment replies, promotional etc.) and boost engagement through liking and commenting on other videos related to DSA.

I’ve produced a diverse range of video content for Jamworks’ main TikTok channel, @Jamworksapp, including student-led conversational clips, scripted promotional pieces, vlog-style segments, and detailed walkthroughs highlighting key features of the app.

In 2023, I took full ownership of the Jamworks Instagram account, leading a strategic refresh to boost engagement and relevance. I introduced a consistent schedule of three carousel posts per week, covering student life, app tutorials, and tailored tips for diverse groups including neurodivergent and international students. This approach grew the account’s following by over 186% in one year.

Previously, I managed weekly Instagram Stories, linking each to a blog post I’d written and using interactive features like polls and question boxes to drive traffic and engagement. Together, these efforts helped unify Jamworks’ brand voice and deepen its connection with the student community.

I wrote a script for and filmed a marketing video for Jamworks' YouTube page which outlines all the features of both the desktop and mobile apps, and how Jamworks AI can benefit the learning of other students based on my own experiences and review.

Pinterest

I followed creative briefs to design and create Pinterest posts that aligned with the brand’s wider digital strategy. Using Canva, I developed visually engaging pins that either featured a strong call-to-action linking to blog content or Instagram posts, or served as standalone infographic-style guides offering study tips and student support resources. Each post was crafted to be informative, on-brand, and optimised for Pinterest’s visual-first platform, helping to extend Jamworks’ reach and drive cross-platform engagement.
